Sketch-o-daily Tuesday November 23rd
Participated in Sketch-o-daily sketch contest by Bobby Chiu.
http://www.sketchoholic.com/Talent/member/my_contest_items.php?ContestID=943
The theme was "Inbred Unicorn".
I began sketching at work, and finished it at home.I kind of wished I drew in on the Wacom from the beginning. Enjoyed the process of designing the character, but I give the finished piece
65%.
I plan to participate in this daily sketch contests more often, like as much as possible. I like that it forces me to draw more and gives me opportunities to learn at daily basis.
Time for updates!
About time I update the site, the blog and even the Twitter account.

If I were to call myself an artist, I need to act like one. My site and blogs are my face to the world. They need to look good and be up to date.
The site should be updated by the end of tomorrow.

Out of reconstruction (?)
Pinc Bullet blog had been under reconstruction today.
It was transferred to another account management, successfully but with difficulties.
It is still not perfect, but I feel that the issue is small and can be ignored.
Hope to keep updating this blog with less to zero problems in the future.

Old to New, time for changes
I have been working on a large drawing for a few months.
A couple weeks ago, my old computer aka "Rice Patch" has died...
The new machine has been purchased and newly named "Tanbo" (rice patch).
I will be trying to finish the drawing this weekend.
I have a bigger plan in the near future which I've just begun putting together today.
Also started a Twitter account.
Many exciting plans and new activities.
I just only hope my job won't keep me away from my projects...
Added notes: Pinc Bullet blog was under reconstruction today. I apologize for the inconvenience...

Art #3: Untitled
I hate it when people don't name their art.
But I guess it happens.
I never put a title to this piece partially because it was a practice/ experiment picture.
Also, I just simply couldn't think of any creative title.
I have this artist friend whom I have never met in person.
His name is Hidemitsu Masui.
FAFROTSKIES by Hidemitsu Masui
I have been very much inspired and influenced by his works.
This piece is basically my attempt to have "animation" or "movements" in my art style for once like his.
This was work in progress for a long long time, until I got tired of it and signed it recently.
It still feels unfinished, but I can always come back to it if I ever want to.

Art #2: World Traveler
I created this picture for a Japanese iPhone app comp.
I remember using a whole bunch of reference photos.
I also remember being sad after learning that my art was not picked.
Because I put a lot into it, I apparently had developed this weird boldness in the process.
